Prof. Stefan Müller-Hülsbeck, MD, is Head of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Deaconess Hospital Flensburg, Germany, and Vice-President of CIRSE. With nearly 30 years in endovascular therapy, he has delivered over 900 lectures, published 200+ papers, and led numerous trials focused on aortic repair, carotid disease, and stroke management.

Prof. Saher S. Sabri is Chief of Interventional Radiology at MedStar Health and Professor of Radiology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. A Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology, he holds ABR CAQ certification and has extensive experience in education, leadership, and advanced vascular and interventional radiology practice.

Professor Robert Morgan is Professor of Interventional Radiology at St George’s University of London and Consultant Radiologist at St George’s Hospital. He is President of the British Society of Interventional Radiology, former CIRSE President, and incoming Editor-in-Chief of CVIR Endovascular. His expertise includes endovascular treatment of vascular disease and embolization, with over 249 publications and multiple international honors.

GEST founder
Dr. Jafar Golzarian is Professor of Interventional Radiology at the University of Minnesota. A pioneer of prostate artery and uterine fibroid embolization in the U.S., he has authored over 170 papers, delivered 400+ lectures, and founded the Global Embolization Symposium and Technologies (GEST), advancing innovation in interventional radiology worldwide.

CIRSE 2025, SPC Chairperson
Dr Gerry O’Sullivan is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist with expertise in venous disorders, thrombosis, thrombolysis, and minimally invasive tumour therapy. He graduated from University College Cork and completed radiology training in the UK, followed by a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Stanford University, USA.

IASIOS, Deputy Chairperson
Dr. Miltiadis Krokidis is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at Aretaieion Hospital and Assistant Professor at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He also practices in Switzerland, serves as Visiting Professor at the University of Bern, and holds an Honorary Professorship at the University of East Anglia, UK.

Vice-Chair, Image-Guided Therapy at Northwestern University
Prof. Riad Salem, MD, MBA, is Professor of Radiology, Surgery, and Medicine, and System Vice-Chair for Image-Guided Therapy at Northwestern University, Chicago. He also serves as System Vice-President for Interventional Services at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. A global leader in interventional oncology, he has authored over 450 publications, delivered more than 800 lectures, and led pivotal international trials in HCC and CRC. His work has advanced minimally invasive therapies worldwide, earning multiple prestigious awards, including the SIR Leaders in Innovation Award and CIRSE’s Rolf Günther Award for Excellence and Innovation.

Dr KT Tan completed his medical school in Queen’s University of Belfast in 1994. Subsequently, he then completed residency in General Surgery (FRCS Ireland) and Radiology (FRCS UK) followed by fellowships in Interventional Radiology in Sheffield and Toronto. He is the Head of Interventional Radiology of University Health Network and Mount Sinai Hospital which is the largest interventional unit in Canada since 2008.
His main interests are in vascular interventions particular peripheral vascular disease and aneurysmal diseases. He is actively involved in many multinational trials of peripheral vascular interventions and endografts trial for aneurysmal diseases.

ET, Incoming Chair
Professor Mark Little is a leading Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist with extensive expertise in embolisation, particularly prostate artery embolization (PAE). Among the world’s most experienced PAE practitioners, he lectures internationally, has authored key publications, and served as NICE specialist advisor. His specialties include prostate MRI, fibroid, and varicocele embolisation.

SIO, Board Member
Dr. Sean Tutton is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist specializing in minimally invasive treatments for cancer-related and non-cancer skeletal fractures. He manages patients with multiple myeloma, sarcoma, and desmoid tumors, offering palliative interventions that relieve pain, restore mobility, and improve quality of life throughout their cancer journey.

Deputy Head, Interventional Neuroradiology Department at the Adolphe de Rothschild Foundation Hospital
Dr. Raphaël Blanc is a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist and Deputy Head of Interventional Neuroradiology at the Adolphe de Rothschild Foundation Hospital. He specializes in endovascular treatment of stroke, cerebral malformations, and pediatric ocular tumors, has over 160 publications, and is co-founder and President of Basecamp Vascular.

Dr. Deok Hee Lee (M.D., Ph.D.) is a specialist in Cerebral Aneurysm Embolization and Cerebrovascular Intervention. He is affiliated with the Departments of Radiology, Stroke Center, Neuro Intervention Clinic, AMC Cancer Institute, and Brain Tumor Center. Dr. Lee earned his medical degrees from Pusan National University, University of Ulsan, and Chungbuk National University, and has extensive clinical experience through positions at GangNeung Asan Hospital, Gangnam Severance Hospital, and UUCM AMC, where he completed his residency and internship.

Dr. Shazam Hussain is Director of the Cerebrovascular Center at Cleveland Clinic and Associate Professor of Neurology. Board-certified in vascular neurology and endovascular surgical neuroradiology, he has over 200 publications and is an international expert in cerebrovascular disease, focusing on endovascular treatments for stroke, aneurysms, and vascular malformations.

Physician and Interventional Radiologist
Professor Brookes is a Physician and Interventional Radiologist trained at UCL Hospitals, London. He specializes in endovascular surgery, including embolisation of AVMs, fibroids, adenomyosis, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic congestion, and varicose veins, as well as angioplasty for peripheral arterial disease and carotid artery stenting.

Consultant Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist
Dr. Andrew Wigham is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Oxford University Hospitals. Since 2014, he has led Oxford’s nationally recognized deep venous program. A specialist in venous disease, vascular access, and endovascular fistulas, he is a prominent international speaker and educator. Dr. Wigham also serves as Oxford’s Interventional Radiology training lead and is active in medical research.
